About
Lowell A. Doringo has held a wide variety of roles focused on leadership and talent development, beginning with his work at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL, as a business programs facilitator with the Disney Institute, a Project Consultant with Global Operations Training, Training Manager for Park Operations. In 2007, he was selected among Disney's 62,000 employees to serve as the Walt Disney World Ambassador, a role originally created by Walt Disney to serve as Disney's official spokesperson and goodwill emissary to all nations. Following his ambassadorship, he created the Emerging Leaders Program, an intensive eight-week training program designed for newly promoted Disney Operations Managers, and was recognized with the highest honor at Walt Disney Parks & Resorts – the Walt Disney Legacy Award.
Today, Lowell resides in Irvine, CA, where he leads as the Senior Manager of Global Talent
Development for the world-renowned video game and entertainment publishing company,
Activision Blizzard. There he led the successful implementation of the company’s first enterprise
wide LMS and Blizzard Entertainment’s first global Diversity & Inclusion learning curriculum.
Outside of work, he remains involved in various non-profit work, most notably with HOSA-Future Health Professionals. In 2012, he led the nationwide organization by serving as Chairman and CEO of its board of directors. He also performs improv comedy with ImprovCity in Orange
County and studies improv at The Groundlings Theatre in Hollywood, California. Lowell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in communication studies from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in organizational leadership from Norwich University.
