Description
Facilitating in-person learning and development seminars, whether in a classroom or conference room, presents a variety of challenges that even the most experienced instructors must stay agile and think on their feet. With creativity and quick thinking, these experienced instructors can fix situations on-the-spot, leaving their learners completely unaware that anything was amiss. With in-person training on hiatus and with no foreseeable return to the classroom, facilitators now find themselves with the need to deliver meaningful content with an equal or higher level of engagement to ensure employees continue to learn and grow in this new world.
To achieve this, facilitators and instructional designers must take a step back to re-evaluate their go-to in-classroom methods and reimagine them using innovation, creativity, and tenacity. When put into practice, the learning outcomes achieved when delivered in-person have the potential to succeed using two-dimensional technology across great distances. In this session, participants will:
- Discover ways to redesign training courses by extrapolating existing content and activities with new vantage points
- Examine the proactive steps required to produce webinar training in order to conduct a seamless training experience
- Learn facilitation delivery techniques to boost engagement, energy, and participation
